Comprehensive Oral Examinations

During your first visit as a new patient you will receive a comprehensive oral evaluation (unless your first visit is indicated as an emergency for a specific problem). This exam will consist of dental radiographs (x-rays), oral cancer screen, TMJ (jaw joint) evaluation, intraoral exam, intraoral photographs (where indicated), dental decay assessment, periodontal (gum) assessment, and bite evaluation. In more complex cases we may need to make some models of your jaws that will require impressions of your teeth. Also at times extraoral digital photographs may be needed.
