Full/Partial Dentures

Full and partial dentures are a treatment alternative for patients with missing teeth. A full (complete) denture is used when all teeth are missing, while the partial denture is used when some teeth are missing. Both appliances are removable meaning they are to be taken in and out of the mouth. There are different designs and materials that are used for full and partial dentures. Dr. Evans will design the best appliance custom for your specific case.

Dentures are very durable appliances but may have to be remade or relined as supporting tissues change over time. It is also possible to make small repairs to dentures.

It is becoming the standard of care that full dentures be supported by implants. This adds stabilization to the denture and to the supporting gum and bone tissues. The added benefit of coupling dentures with implants greatly increases the patient’s function.
